This is the first of many posts for girls planning a Vacation to Las Vegas. I’ve been living in Las Vegas for almost 3 years and would like to share many of the ins and outs of visiting Las Vegas. Before living in Las Vegas I used to visit quite frequently while setting up Aradia Fitness Las Vegas, and it’s very interesting seeing Vegas from a ‘locals’ point of view.
Taxis and limos. First things first is transport to and from the airport. The strip is VERY close to the airport. I can remember my first few trips to Vegas being in a taxi sitting in traffic on the highway thinking how far away the airport must be from the strip … it’s so close. Have a look at a map. Depending on where you’re staying, the quickest way to get to the strip is to go down Tropicana. You can tell your taxi driver if you like. There’s no reason for him to get on the highway, besides to charge you more money.
BEFORE you get in a taxi from the airport, check to see if your hotel has airport transporation. Tracy and I used to stay at the Palms before we lived in Vegas and we found out after we moved here that they have an aiport service … a little lime green van that says The Palms, and could have provided us transportation to and from the airport. There’s also buses of course.
AN ATTRACTIVE WOMEN IN VEGAS: One thing we did learn quickly while we were visiting here is how great it was to be let into clubs for free and be given free drinks. It doesn’t happen all the time or to everyone, but as soon as I moved here I made sure to meet VIP hosts at my favorite clubs so I could send girls who book parties and classes with us for free. I’ll write more on this soon, but for now, when you book your bachelorette party or pole dancing class or lesson with us be sure to tell us which clubs you would like to go to. My favorites are Vanity at the Hard Rock, all the clubs at the Palms and Tao at the Venetian.
One more thing … when you’re in Vegas, dress up and look fabulous. Bring your little black dress and stilettos, do your hair and your make-up … it’s so much fun!
